Shrimp and Shenanigans is a personal project that unfolded organically after I began documenting the humorous one-liners of a close friend. Inspired by Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, Shrimp and Shenanigans showcases the curated treasury of comedic brilliance and serves as a canvas for shared memories, beloved places, and cherished belongings, weaving a narrative tapestry of laughter and camaraderie.

This personal project allowed me to explore my creative abilities with a sense of playfulness and fantasy.  I meticulously curated the sayings, created illustrations using Adobe Illustrator, designed the book using Adobe InDesign, and worked closely with printers to realize the project.

Pictured is an illustration I completed of the White House Tavern in Aspen, Colorado. The “white house” was originally constructed in 1883 and is a historic landmark in the City of Aspen.

Pictured is an illustration I completed of Hotel San Cristóbal, located in Todos Santos, B.C.S., Mexico. The property is Bunkhouse Group’s first international property and was completed in 2017.
